Good question Chris. But not quite true. Dinosaurs are mentioned in the Bible. But not by the word 'dinosaur'. The reason? The word dinosaur was not made until the mid 1800's. The Bible was translated into English in the 1600's. The word dinosaur is not in the Bible because the word did not yet exist!

However, dinosaurs are mentioned in the Bible. Here is Job 40:15-18.

"Look at the behemoth,
which I made along with you
and which feeds on grass like an ox.
What strength he has in his loins,
what power in the muscles of his belly!
His tail sways like a cedar;
the sinews of his thighs are close-knit.
His bones are tubes of bronze,
his limbs like rods of iron."

Some say that this is an elephant, or even a hippo. But How many hippos or elephant have you seen with a tail like a cedar?
