The 6000 Year Old Earth Thing.

It is amazing how many times I have seen statements something like this.
“Christians believe that the Earth is 6000 years old but distant stars indicate the Earth is billions of years old.”

I am a Christian and take the Bible as literal unless there is a specific reason not to.

The Bible doesn’t say how long the Earth was here.

I hope I haven’t wrecked any ones day, but I wish people would read it for themselves
before they discuss it on my behalf.

Be aware that I am not afriad of asking hard questions. (Or giveing them either.)
