Christians Or Creationists?

As a reader of the Bible...

Christians believe Jesus did things to improve things.

Creationists believe the Earth is about 6,000 years old because they literally read their English Bibles in a language, age and environment well removed from originals. They just don't want to explore the text beyond their initial interpretation. Stubborn, lazy or whatever, they all too often spend more energy on Genesis than the Gospels thinking that the Gospels require a literal interpretation of the Old Testament to be valuable.

Those who push Jesus aside to promote the 6K Earth are Creationists more than Christians. Not good.

Two other groups not mentioned much are Jews and Muslims. They both revere the Old Testament so are they also in the 6K crowd? I ask because I have never ever heard any comments from them about Creation. What say you Jews and Muslims?
