Jisbond's last post said:

"Allah answers all sincere questions; even secret knowledge which is given to those who invent and/or discover scientific formulas for explaining a mystery which may have puzzled mankind"

I am puzzled by this claim since the Prophet of Islam warned us against investigation and research. I wonder there is support in the Koran for the above claim.

On the other hand, since I have spent my life in research and investigation, I personally support jisbond's statement and find the Prophet's warning to be unfit for modern life. It pits science against religion, and we all know who is bound to win if it's an either or proposition. All religion should be open to investigation, research and scrutiny in the same manner that science is.
