First of all Motumos, not to be rude, but you may want to think about what you're saying before you say it. Indeed scientists have been wrong in the past, but it doesn't mean they are always wrong.

Mario, you said the theory of evolution has been proved. Can you prove this to me with sources? I have never found proof of it and I have several, up to date books, that highly disagree with the theory. Indeed evolution does occur, but I don't think the theory of evolution (change of one species to another) has occured.

Also you said, acording to the bible, the earth is 6000 years old. This is NOT true. Acording to the bible, it has been aproximately 6000 years since Adam was created. The word "day" used is a translation from a Hebrew word with different meanings. Even stated in Genesis 2:17, "But as for the tree of the knowledge of good and bad you must not eat from it, for in the DAY you eat from it you will positively die." The bible tells us Adam lived for over 900 years, which indicates the day means something different than 24 hours. The Hebrew word translated "day" has a variety of meanings, including "a long time; the time covering an extraordinary event." The term used allows for the thought that each "day" could have been thousands of years, if not more, in length.

This may also indicate plant and animal life are much older than humans by more than just a couple days.
