Fly without wings, without eyes or with 4 eyes or 4 wings are favorite classic object of genetic manipulation and study. Changing viral DNA scientists make fags targeting certain bacteria. Incerting certain protein gene into viruses and bacteria is a common industrial way of mass-production of that protein.

So, changing DNA you can make virtually any specie you want, and it is up to interplay of chemical reaction if it will be viable or not.

Claims that evolution is wrong and that human did NOT evolve from ape (contrary to the FACT that both have same anatomy, same blood type, same social behavour and same DNA (98.5% of human DNA is identical to chimp's DNA)- such claim today may only come from either uneducated or completely ignorant person.

Any Biology 101 textbook if choke full of FACTS of evolution (gradual accumulation of changes in DNA) which proof and overproof Darvin's theory of ever changing species.
