As I said, there is no one line you can draw between chickens and pre-chickens. If you really want to get gritty, you could even claim that you are a different species than your parents. You are slightly more evolved probably, have slightly different DNA, etc. Saying "species adapt" is the same thing as saying "species change." The only real difference is the degree. |
