If you take the stance that Jesus was a God, then wasn't the universe left on its own accord for 3 days.

When Jesus died on the cross, his body didn't "arise" until 3 days had passed. That means God was dead for 3 days!! Who kept the universe in order those 3 days? Maybe it just worked well on its own. Maybe God doesn't need to be around with its hand in the cookie jar, so to speak, all the time. Maybe God is indifferent and an impartial observer in the universe. Maybe God just set it all in motion, or maybe everything around us, including existence, is God. Anyway you go, there is no data to support any of it scientifically. Faith is faith, and science requires skepticism and evidence - things religion knows little about.
