It turns out that in physics an abstract mathematical category (say, force or mass) can be very "tangible". Force is defined as a derivative of momentum F=dp/dt (just a rate of change of momentum), and mass - as inertial property of energy.

So, again math "dictates" what tangible objects can (or can not) exist in universe.
