Hi Alex,thanx for your missive.With all due respect,99.9% pure,oxygen free cables are de rigueur in High End Hi Fi cables.In spite of this,some cables exhibit a better soundstage,
reproducing stereo with greater width and depth and greater detail,harmonic distortion in the upper frequencies has little to do with this.Have also listened to engineers convinced the signal is carried by the skin of the conductor,not its interior.Perhaps that is why my preferred cable,expensive as it is,is silver plated.
My point was,and is,science a has no equation to explain the differences we hear.
