Nobody denies moral values of religion, as we do not have other moral education institutions around (well, correctional facilities can be considered, but those are rather "post-graduate" schools).

What we argue here is that religion claims to put God where there is no room for him. Thus the crisis of religion. If it was a little more humble and agreed to accept laws of nature, it would gain much more prestige (and popularity among minds). Before that those unsubstantiated claims can only catch attention of poor-educated minds.
