that there ARE those of us who have faith and still have room to believe that scientific discoveries have a place, too. a lot of believers i know are actually highly educated, and i think we all know that humans have a lot to learn. no 'group' is going to be all right or all wrong; i think the whole of creation gives enough room for us all to be right, at least part of the time, without expecting others around us to accept/learn in one day what it took an author a year to learn. but, that's just my opinion. i'm sorry you apparently haven't made the acquaintence of 'mature believers' or something to give you a little room for benefit of the doubt. maybe i can be one? who knows. :)
