The point is: Jesus went to the synagogue to pray and to teach. Therefore, how could he be against churches (which are places to pray and to teach) when he himself went to a "templike". (Intentionally misspelled).

You said there were no churches in the time of Jesus -- which is obvious, as there were also no christians -- and so I replied Jesus went to a synagogue (a "church"). I am not saying they are the same. (Do I really need to clearify this point?)

"Guess you are not jewish. No jew would call any of them a church."

That's funny!
