Avatars is a term in the dictionary of eastern religions like Hinduism, Buddhism, Siddha Yoga, Shaivism, Jainism, etc. the list goes on.

The characteristics of Avatars are the same as Christ. Let me give you one example. In the Tibetian Book of the Dead, there is an aspect of god called 'The Lord of Great Compassion' who is available for everybody for salvation.

You should read this book if you are concerned about heaven.

The word messiah comes from Judaism, not Christianity. Paul made a re-interpretation of the word when it became apparent that Jesus was not the great political and military leader promised by Isaiah. Besides, Christianity has two messiahs. One is yet to come. And from Revelations another Christ is expected for the third time about a thousand years from now.

So with Christianity suggesting three Christs, why can’t you believe that they have been coming along since the human race evolved. Some of the Avatars came in more primative forms before humans evolved. The transition Avatar was half man nd half monkey.

Or is it that you think the world is only 6,000 years old and that evolution is not a fact of history. Well, you see that the eastern religions all believe in evolution. It’s a religious concept for them that includes evolution of the soul.

So it is not my dictionary. It is a dictionary used by a nmuber of belivers that vastly outnumbers christians. If you are not familiar with this dictionary, that is your problem, not mine.

Richard
