"And who thought up the idea of "Brain Cells"?

Could there be an alternate concept which would explain the same effects?"

Dick, brain cells exist. Neurons exist. These are the WHAT questions of our universe (What is our brain made of?) In order to answer the WHY questions (Why do we exist?) the only way to get a somewhat reliable answer is to accumulate as much WHAT knowledge as possible and apply it to a WHY situation. (Empirical research) Astrology, Tarot readings, and religion all attempt to answer all the big WHY questions without any educated information on the subject. This is flawed thinking. If science has not fully described the nature of the universe, that is not a failing of science, more like a failing of all the faithful who claim to know WHY but know very few WHATS.
