If the words have an integral meaning, yes. If it's entertaining hogwash, no. I try not to attach meaning to words, for me at least if there is residual meaning it comes out by itself, so to speak.

But no residual meaning does not correlate to no purpose. Ever see Monty Python's spam sketch? Have you found any meaning in it? But is it still as funny as hell?
