In Isaiah 9:6, Jesus is described as the mighty God and the everlasting Father.

RE: Reims, Good News, RSV, etc.
I do not believe that the National Council of Churches of Christ in America was Authorized by any government to make a revision. The translators of their RSV bible rendered a specific word by the same English word consistently, regardless of its context.
I would suggest to you that in many places, the context does make a difference.
The American Bible Society, again not authorized by a God ordained power, set the basis for their translating to be “dynamic equivalence” for their Good News bible. In this, the translators were less concerned with a literal translation as with translating the meaning of the text in common English and avoiding technical terms.
I would suggest to you that in many places, the technical terms do make a difference.
You should know that the KJV is the only English version in print today that was Authorized by a God ordained power. (Romans 13:1) and that there were no quotation marks in the original tounges and, thus, you are relying on other translations to intercede for you. There are more reasons than this to use that KJV, but I’ll leave it there.

I assume the “not” was in this post was an error. Regardless, was Jesus lying in John 10:30 ?

I would think that you would have a problem with separate gods since Jesus quoted Deuteronomy 6:4 in Mark 12:29 and also said “I and my Father are one.” in John 10:30.
The Trinity concept is not separate “gods”, but God’s persons (relationships) as revealed by Him.
I’m sorry I don’t know how to explain it much better to you, but the endwelling of the Holy Ghost gives you a guide which can settle it for you.
For now, I can only repeat the brief example ---
Imagine the unseen puppeteer(Father) who reaches his hand(Son) down into view which is made in the resemblance of a puppeteer. The puppet(Son) points to a flag on the stage and says that his father above will make it to blow in the wind. The puppeteer then blows(Holy Spirit) on the flag and makes it flutter.
Would you say that the hand(Son) was not the puppeteer ?
Would you say the wind(Holy Spirit) was not the movement of the puppeteer ?
God is ONE “what” and THREE who’s.
ONE in substance, THREE in persons (relationships).
If you develop a closer personal relationship with the One who died for you, He can bring you a much deeper understanding.
