Let's make one thing clear: we did not evolve from present day monkeys. Both humans and present primates evolved from the SAME COMMON ANSCESTOR.

As far as the different species thing goes, I already addressed it: the difference between species is just a convenience, invented by man. I am a different species than you, if you want to get really picky about it. I think the example of the electromagetic spectrum is a good one: it's a gradual process.

How else do you explain our vestigial parts? As Alex said, the coccyx, for example. Or the appendix? Or nipples on a man's chest? Or why is our DNA almost identical to other primates? If god designed us, why did he do such a piss-poor job of it, just building off what he already had?
