Lets look at the universe. Stars die, solar systems die. Supposedly nothing lives in those systems, so why go through all that. Why have an entire solar system that has life in only one or just a few. There is no satisfactory reason other than it just happened to happen.
There is birth and death throughout all of the universe. Stars are born and they die. So do beings on a planet. Why should we think that we are special?
