'structure showing intent'. you've seen many stones, strewn about by upheavals, floods, etc. Where branches fall or are blown about along the soil, you see wavy lines of where they've touched.

compare that to seeing a stone wall where rocks have been placed in such a way as to serve most strongly. we know they were not placed there of their own power. a single line carved in a wall of a cave may not mean much, not even two or three, but a series of lines, circles, etc shows us PROBABLY someone put them there for a reason known only to them. these both give a sense that someone intentionally labored to make order out of chaos, using the materials at hand.

if that is true (and i may be wrong), then how much more intent did it take to put heavenly bodies in their places, develop the seasons, make colors and elements, put energy and chemicals in animals and humans, etc, compared to a few hash marks on a wall in some cave?

but why someone or something greater than ourselves? we know it's hard for us humans to be nice at all, especially the bigger the population grows and resources harder to come by. it's a discipline, not nature or chance, that keeps us from simply knocking somebody's block off and ending their attacks of us once and for all. where does that come from?

in Genesis after adam and eve disobeyed, god said 'now you'll have pain in childbirth'. HUH? you mean there WOULDN'T have been pain before that? that, just by THINKING about a progeny, or mushing up a bunch of clay, it could be made like god did? adam had to start tilling the soil with the seasons. does that mean it was all one nice season with uninterrupted fresh fruit and stuff? food for thought, indeed.
