But why should she be forced to reap the consequences of a decision that she did not make?

As for the Joe thing...
Killing is illegal, but abortion (short for killing unborn children) is not...

I am against abortion, and, therefore, find it disgraceful on society that there is even the proposal that the two are different. However, that is my opinion... there are a growing number of people that think otherwise. I have never met a "pro-choice" advocate, but would like to discuss the topic with one.
