It should be possible to explain our standards so that an

"Intelligent Person of Good Ethics Who Dedicates Adequate Time"

could be shown 'precisely' how they are meeting or falling short of our standards.
I will admit the importance of being specific and precise is definitely a two way street.

I am pleased to have strong minds say that big ideas could be deeply discussed even without some of our current concepts of mathemathics. You have said this well various different ways.
