but I see the same kind of disregard for scientific work by fundamentalists that in Islam some 800 years initiated the decline of the Isalm world from world leadership to being part of the developing world. The most significant threat to the leaderhip of the world by western countries is the possibility of internal takeover by fundamentalists who would abandon free thinking and research in favor of dogma from ancient texts. |
