My main point was on the objectivity of the human brain. If the brain is stimulated with a certain number of inputs, the brain will respond in a certain way every time. No free will involved. Of course, the level of inputs needed to produce a certain output varies from person to person, the basic wiring is the same.

As far a masochism, fetishes, etc, go, I'm not a neurologist, but I would suggest it's the equivilent of a crossed wire. The feeling of pain is routed to sensations of pleasure instead of displeasure. It's still a basic if-then statement, it's just that the "then" is abnormal.
