Will Science Ever "Prove" God?

Does anyone know if science will ever prove God? I don't say prove the existance of God as He must not 'exist' in the sense that we exist. I'm sure science is very wonderfull with many 'discoveries' and inovations. It just sometimes seems that trying to figure out the universe from 'our' end is like looking through the wrong end of a telescope. It seems that God would tell us all things if we just go to Him since He knows all things especially as He is purported to have created everything. It seems the direct approach would be the correct one. Each person, from his own heart to God.
