The Bible, supporting which is an overwhelming amount of scientific and historical evidence, tells us that God does not want people to go to hell, but He`s a holy God and can`t tolerate sin in his presence. We all deserve to go to hell, but He in his mercy gave us a way out - Jesus. Jesus took our place dieing for our sins. Unfortunately, not everyone accepts what Jesus did for us, in spite of the overwhelming evidence, thus rejecting God`s mercy to us. |
