Anyone who contributes to this discussion should be hidden from our government. It is impossible to hide for them if they really want to detect you. But we should not make it easy for them to know who we are, especially in light of the discussions in this thread which could be labeled as anti-government.

It's too late for me to be anonymous. But then I am no longer in the job market. Background checks will become commonplace there, if not already so.

But I could lose my SSA stipend. So I will refrain from such discussions on the internet.

The voting public could reverse the govt process so well illustrated in this thread. But I fear that the American public is more afraid of aliens than big brother. Even if the democrats get voted in, the tide would probably not turn.

During the strongest period of the Brtish Empire in the late 1800s, the mayor of London was continually re-elected on a platform that consisted solely of fear of the jews. So it is just amazing what fear can do to the public and how the govt can capitalize on it. And now we have a new focus for that fear.
