It amazes me how much energy the fundies expend to explain every word of the bible must be truth. It is as if they suggest you must accept the bible as a whole if you are to get to heaven.

Correct me if I am wrong, but as a Christian, I assume the way to Heaven is to believe in Jesus and know he is "the way." Yes, of course, Jesus references the previous bible frequently, but does that mean we should ignore his rather direct statement on the way to Heaven?

To their credit, the fundies have great energy and good intentions, but they should expend it on Christ's teachings and live that life.

The Old Testament is an excellent read and is worth every minute spent on it, but don't let that detract you from Christian Truth if you are in fact a Christian.

Science is God's creation too so we should embrace the wonders displayed before us.

Enjoy and live life like Christ wants us too.
