You mean let's group hyenas, wolves, cannines, foxes, not to mention all the extinct relatives? Aaron, do yourself a favor and start thinking reasonably. You've let your fundamentalist religious views take over your perspective of what is true. I can't think of anything worse for religion than when truth is gauged as unimportant.

If you took your argument at its extreme, we could just say that one pair of creatures were brought onto the ark - the animal kind. Everything evolved from that. How utterly ridiculous and yet, that is the lunacy apparent in these arguments.

I don't want to be insulting, but I cannot think of where to go with this since both of you will not listen to reason.
