I suggested that the above statement might be anti-semetic because it supports the Arab view that jews do not have a right to Palestine/Israel.

If the statement is supported by good scholarship, then perhaps the Arabs are correct and that Judiaism developed in exil after the second century.

I certainly did not want to accuse you of anti-semetism. But I am bothered by the political implications of such a claim.
