Please Address The Astronomical Distance Question

Since this is an astronomical forum, first and foremost the creationists should address the problem of the size of our Milky Way, 100,000 light years, and the conclusion from the finite speed of light that the light we see from stars in this galaxy is up to 70,000 years old.
