A teacher of mine, the teacher to whom I was referring in my last post (I have a lot of respect or him, despite our differences), said that ...a person who has nothing to die for, has nothing to live for (or something to that effect).

I suppose that I would rather live for this, than for something else, if I had to choose. However, that is not to say that I would not live for something else. I would rather believe in God, any God, than no God.

According to my current beliefs, nothing I do can change what happens after I die... I will simply decompose, everything I do is done in vein. It is a very grim belief, however it is what I think happens.

What do you think about what I believe? How did you react to reading it? Did it surprise you, or did you know what I thought before I stated it?

Warm Regards,

Phillip
