I Am A Creationist

So I am an old earth creationist.

And you would be called a young earth creationist.

You might consider the following problem for young earth beliefs, especially if you are also believing in science.

The evidence and the theory of relativity both suggest that the speed of light is a constant.

Using the value of that constant and the various astronomical measures of distance, the oldest stars appear to be 10 billion light-years away from us. That is, the light we sense from them left them 10 billion years ago.

That is in my opinion the essentially problem faced by young earth creationists in trying to make creationism conpatible with science.

I do not know any scientific way to get light to travel from the farthest stars to us in 6,000 years. You might consider researching what other creationists say about this problem.
