Believing the universe was created by a spiritual being does not make you a fundamentalist. Taking the Bible literally does. And, though I hope you will not take offense to this, all the fundamentalists I have personally met have been very anti-science, and generally very stupid. They want to outright ban the teaching of evolution in schools, post the ten commandments in state-owned institutions, and basically assemble a theocracy. Granted, in the past, fundamentalists made GREAT strides, but only because there was no fully developed alternative. Now there is, and you are the closest thing to an intelligent person I have met who believes in a 6000 year old universe. You are the only person I've met who has actual arguments to back fundamentalism up, but realize that 99.99% don't have any reason to believe, which is VERY anti-science. I think as you research astronomy and geology on non-fundamentalist, non-atheist, impartial websites, you will come to discard that belief as well, and become a liberal Christian.
