As neutrino falls, it loses potential energy P=(E/c^2)gh thus gains kinetic energy E. As it ascends, vice versa. What is unusual here? The potential energy comes from gravitational field energy density u=-g^2/8(pi)G, as it is lower when masses (or energies) comes closer due to the non-linear term g^2.

G here is gravitational constant, g - acceleration of gravity, h - height, E-kinetic energy of neutrino,pi =3.14.
