Thats right science would revise the theories and models , do you fail to realise that if a large mass is sitting in the center of our galaxies then blackhole theories being eradicated would also mean a revise of our entire understanding and research, all theories would also mean gravity .

Let us please agree on some thing. You said,

what can of worms would this uncover if jets were proved to originate from a solid mass object bigger than a neutron star .

The empthasis being on solid. I have no problem with there being a large mass (millions of saolar masses) in the center of Galaxies. But I maintain
that this has to be a Black Hole. Else, it would be some large, light producing object. No such animal has been detected even though HST has recently surveyed the hearts of several galaxies.
