the blocking of light is the cause of why things fall

Simple test, turn the lights out and drop a brick, it falls. Take the brick into the sunlight, drop it, it falls. The object falls in the presence of light or absence of light.

You can do the same with an electron in a strong light. Objects fall whether there is light or not.

How does this theory explain the curvature of light near a gravitational field? I.E. Famous test of Relativity where the position of stars near the solar limb in an eclipse moved by an amount exactly caclulated by Relativity.
