Get The 12"

Hi David;
If you can afford it, get the 12". I was thinking about the 10". To tell you the truth. After seeing in a few, there is a difference between the 10" and the 8", but not a whole lot. Then I saw the 12". Big difference! Globular clusters resolve right to the center. You can see almost every NGC Galaxy you point at. I got the 12". I'm very happy with it. I know a guy who after seeing my 12" is upgrading from the 10". The weight is only 10 pounds more that the 10", so if you handle the 10" more than likely you can handle the 12".
