Same as origin of 3x10^8 m/sec value for the speed of light or 6.67x10^-11 N m^2/kg^2 for the gravitational constant.

True that we can MEASURE speed of light by dividing length it passes by time: v = l/t, ,but there is no explanation why we get 3x10^8 m/s instead of 2x10^9 m/s or any other number. Same with the Plank constant: we can MEASURE energy and frequency of a photon and dividing first by the second obtain some number like 6.6x10^-34 J sec. But we do NOT have explanation why this number is 6.6x10^-34 but not 3x10^-20, for example.

Good GUT should do just that - explain numerical values of c, h, G mathematically deriving them from more fundamental parameter or from dimensionality of space, or from some property of false vacuum, etc.

We will make one more step in pushing gods and evels futher down as it always was before.
