You Cannot Reach An Event That Takes An Infinite Amount Of Time

It is as simple as that. There is no beginning and no end to infinite time. So you cannot start at the beginning. You just are where you are. It did not take an infinite amount of time to get here. You are just here. Universes come and probably go, though the latest science says they never go away.

String theory cosmology indicates several ways that a universe can be created from something that existed before, usually another universe; but there is no indication of how to start time. There is always something in existence before. There is no beginning in string theory.

General relativity has a beginning at a singularity. But the theory is not valid at its beginning. So we cannot use GR to find the beginning of time or existence. Something has always existed; and something will always exist.
