:christianity. Since then tradition, war, :geography, racism ( ye even in rel. ), language
:and many other factors have either isolated these
:other influences completely, wiped them out from
:hundreds of years of oppression, or caused them
:to remain a seperate group. : Also, some of the
:roots of Catholicism spurred rival religious
:branches for the same reason. But guess what,
:Unless you're a Pagan, every other single belief
:is based upon the same principles. Whether or not
:you have to wear long dresses or recieve
:communion doesn't matter. Those are minor :differences. There are thousands of reasons why
:there are still hundreds of unique belief :systems. Overall , n my opinion, it is the
:instinctive and age-old desire for individuality
:and purpose. With these two things comes a need
:for spiritual discipline and a set rule system
:for treatment of others ( This applies to most :people, since most people have a relatively LOW
:constitution and/or self-esteem. The world population, by majority, is living under the poverty level. * Apply this to constitution, SELF-ESTEEM, discipline, etc. *
