"Are you ALIVE and AWAKE over
there?"

To the best of my knowledge.

"The
bible is not out to prove the origins of man, even
though some priests and theologians would like to
think so."

I've covered this before, from both sides, dammit. I'll keep this point short and sweet so you don't gloss over it in your upcoming reply. Christians are Christians because they believe in specific Christian tenets: those in the Bible. If caring and kindness was all that was important to believers, then a specific religion wouldn't be neccesary, as the love your neighbor law has been repeated again and again throughout time. Why be Christian as opposed to Buddhist when the overall effect is the same? Because of the jumbled mess of subjectivity acting as objectivity. Face it. Christians are Christians first and foremost not because they love each other but because they believe in the teachings of the Bible, many of which are patently wrong. It is not just an institution of love.
