Please, distinguish people's opinion (philosophies, religions, people's perception of nature, etc) from sciences - the way nature works (which is independent of humans' or other aliens' opinion).

In doubts - just consider alens (or humans) to be non-existent and see if the object remains or if it disappears. If it remains (say, Sun, or say, Earth motion, or hydrogen atom, or relativistic length contraction, or gravity as GMm/R^2, etc.) -it is science (nature) and is independent from human (or other civilization) perception phenomena.

If it vanishes (say, languages, philosophies, god(s), etc) - then it is humans' (aliens') invention and thus could be different in different civilization.
