Universe does not care if there are tree-like aliens, or fish-like humans. Planets attract each other as GMm/r^2 regardless if you are a tree, a bird or a blind worm and regardless what set of sensors you have.

So, just remove aliens, or trees, or fish-like creatures and see if gravity stays.
