Sure, how about basics, say - numbers? Place a rock into a hole and call it "1". Take it out and call it "0". You do not need any human to distinguish between object in the hole and no object in the hole: other aliens can do that, many devices which do not have to be built by himans can do that. If you feel that you need human influence to make a hole, etc. - look up in the sky and call presence of Sun "1" and absence of Sun "0" - no humans needed to make "1" or "0" and again not only humans may distinguish between "1" and "0". |
