I don't think we're going to reach an agreement here (though I DID get a few good laughs over the linguistic acrobatics we've been putting ourselves through.)

I just don't understand why people cling to faith when they don't understand it and can't explain it. (it reminds me of those old zombie movies: join us..... join us..... :) ) You seem like a nice person, I just fear that you have faith simply out of an inability to consider "what if there really IS no meaning to all this?" As callous as it may sound, the higher someone's faith, the higher I percieve their personal weakness to be.
