i even found on a Manx beach this 5-pound stone of pumice and what looked like a half geode!!!! right on the beach! then on Lake Ontario in NY, you take a hard rock, chip off some big slate boulder corner, tap it again and there's fossil fish inside! buried treasure everywhere! i once lived by an alternative river/dry stream bed, that sometimes would flood, reroute itself, recede, etc. how would 10 years of that kind of action look in a cross section, do you know? |
