Jesus was a man, Jesus also possessed a devine nature. He was Jesus of Nazareth, son of man, he was also Jesus the "Holy One of Israel" mentioned by Isiaha the prophet. His virgin birth, life, death and ressurection were foretold 72 different times in the OT. He was seen by 500 [many of which were subsequently martyred] or so different witnesses AFTER he rose from the dead. No other religious prophet can make a similar claim. There were those in Christ`s day who failed to "see" Jesus for who and what he was. Most notably, the Jews, an occurence that was prophesized by their own Old Testament. To this day, the question, "Who was Jesus?" remains the single-most important question that a mortal can ask.
