I am afraid the geological record is against you on this one. The continents, ocean, mountain upthrusts, and even the weather all point to a global catastrophie. Millions of creatures were buried alive instantly. Otherwise, we would never have had a fossil record to study because these creatures would have decayed before they would have had a chance to fossilize. The interpretation of the facts is the problem we have, not the facts themselves. Our interpretations are influenced by our biases. The question is: Which bias is most closely in tune with the facts. The Creation interpretation wins hands down. The problem with this is that people who reject this interpretation do not want to be accountable to an infinite God. |
