Eternity does suggest that it would be some other dimension that transcends space and time.

What about this idea, That the soul of God is Eternity.

Eternity is that place where All IS ONE. No Duality.
Eternity being Eternal is then the source of Creation.
The Cycle of creation exists like a small ring of energy in Eternity.
The soul of God then has access to all of creation, the beginning middle and the end.

This then would then satisfy our criteria that God is eternal, and transcends his own creation.

God can adjust all of his creation from the beginning to the end.
We being part of creation cannot detect these manipulations.

God can create and undo his creation, just as we create and undo the words we write in our word processors. The Earth could have been distorted many times by Atomic Wars from the fifties on. But...
Since God wants us to be here, he steps back in time, cancels out the events that led to atomic war, and we as humans think that we have gone from the fifties till now without ever starting an atomic was.

As fantastic as this may all seam, we can only imagine what powers God may have.

God can play with space and time, but the nature of God is Love. God loves all of his creation and I believe that this god desires his creation to succeed. Just as an artist or writer wants to have successful creations.

The variety of Human beings here on this world should give us all the assurance that God created this diversity. That God resides in each of us, and through us, God communities with Himself, and experiences his own self in His creation.
